Operational notifications are a powerful feature designed to keep you informed about important events in real-time. With this tool, you can easily automate alerts for flight operations, informational updates, or cautionary warnings, ensuring that the right people are notified whenever a significant event occurs. By setting up custom triggers and defining actions such as sending email notifications to team members across diferent sites and devices, you can tailor the Flow to fit your organization’s needs.

Setting up an operational notification

  • Go to the Flows section on your dashboard.

  • Click on the Create button.

  • Choose Notifications from the menu.

  • Setting up the Triggers parameters:

    • Enter a descriptive name for the Flow.

    • Select the trigger events by navigating to Add Trigger, where you can choose from flight operation events, informational alerts, or cautionary notifications based on your requirements. Multiple events can be selected simultaneously to customize the response.

  • Setting up the Action parameters:

    • After this go to the Add Action section and Under Action define the emails which will be notified when the event is triggered , this can be done manually or you select emails from your organisation by browsing the "Choose from directory" option.

    • Under the Test Email option, you can enter emails to verify the automation service.

    • After this, you can filter between the different sites and select the device(s) for which you want to set up this Flow.

    • You can see a summary of selections in the Overview overlay present over the map.

  • Once all the parameters are set, click on the Create button and your operational notifications will show up in My Flows.

  • Under the Logs option in Flows, you would be able to see all the previously triggered operational notifications along with their status.

  • To view the details of a specific event, simply click on the corresponding log entry. This will open a detailed page displaying comprehensive information, including the trigger, actions taken and device status.
